Our overarching mission is simple, we exist to fight hunger and feed hope across Midwest Missouri. We've seen the numbers, and hunger is closer than most people think. Children and adults face hunger in every community across the country. Your neighbor, child’s classmate, or even coworker may be struggling to get enough to eat. We're on a mission to help, and we'd love you to join us.

We're a member of Feeding America, the largest charity working to end hunger in the United States. As a food bank, we bring food to people facing hunger. We also help advocate for policies in our four-county region that create long-term solutions to hunger.

Our history of giving

Since October 1988, the Midwest Missouri Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided food to over 50 partner agencies and food programs, in an effort to feed children, the working poor, and seniors throughout the counties of Andrew, Buchannan, DeKalb, and Clinton. A member of Feeding America, The Midwest Missouri Food Bank is one of 12 food banks that serves the heartland of America.
